Things become more complicated and challenging and for those with non-emergency medical conditions or disabilities. Relying on family or friends to get us to an appointment is ideal but not always possible. Even finding a ride to run some simple errands can be difficult. And no one should ever have to miss an important event, celebration or other activity for lack of transportation.

SafeCare goes to great lengths to recruit and hire its drivers. A SafeCare driver is patient, protective and professional and will be a welcome and familiar face to his or her passengers. All have impeccable driving records, are nationally certified in CPR, proficient in The American Red Cross first-aid techniques and practices, bonded and insured.
Fully Equipped and Impeccably Maintained Vehicles
The SafeCare fleet includes deluxe vans for clients who are able to walk with or without assistance and can also accommodate those who are using a walker. For those in wheelchairs, there are vehicles that are outfitted with special ramps and lifts which have been approved by The American Disabilities Association. All passengers will be secured with seat belts or appropriate and comfortable safety devices.
SafeCare vehicles are clean, comfortable and secure. New and late model vehicles receive regular maintenance strictly following factory recommended schedules to ensure a smooth, trouble-free riding experience. Vehicles are cool in the summer and warm in the winter at temperatures set to the passengers’ preferences.

SafeCare is open and ready to transport clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SafeCare dispatchers are available at a moment’s notice to schedule a ride day or night. This is as easy as a phone call. And there will be no need to go though a complicated and time-consuming phone menu before you receive the personal assistance and reassurance you deserve.

State-of-the-art communications and global tracking systems provide the extra peace-of-mind that comes by being able to check in and know where a patient or family member is located at any point during the trip. Drivers will know the most direct, traffic-free routes to the desired location and always arrive on time. Spouses, family members or nurses are welcome to ride along.
